Judges of the constitutional court of Ukraine elected a new head of the court Natalia Shaptala. This is with reference to its sources reports Interfax-Ukraine.

Earlier constitutional court judges expressed their disbelief and dismissed the head of the CC by Stanislav Shevchuk.

Recall that Shevchuk was sworn in as constitutional court judges on 13 March 2014. 21 February 2018, was elected head of the constitutional court of Ukraine.

The new head of KSU Natalia Shaptala was born in 1959 in Donetsk. In 1987 he graduated from the law faculty of Altai state University. Worked as a judge in the courts of Donetsk region. In September 2010 the X Congress of judges of Ukraine appointed her judge of the COP.

According to e Declaration of property and income for the year 2018, Aptly in joint ownership with a spouse have an apartment in Kiev with an area of 98 sq m, purchased in 2011. Also in the Declaration it had made a home in Lisnyky village, kyievo-Sviatoshynskyi district, Kyiv region with total area of 289 square meters, two plots of land area of 139 sq m and 1205 m in the same village, acquired in 2010, as well as the apartments in Kiev with the area of 82,5 sq. m, acquired in 2017 owned by her husband.
