Turkey’s North-Western coast of the gendarmerie and the coast guard pulled from the water 1551 kg of marijuana.
Unusual discovery by Turkish police found near the resort town of Ayvalik, reports the newspaper Milliyet.
“Marijuana Packed in vacuum bags were transported in a wooden boat with six people. Due to overload the boat sank”, — militiamen found out.
Stated that after the sinking of the boat, the bags fell into the sea, where they got the coast guard. About suspicious packages, she was told by the locals.
It is known that there are currently six employees who transported the goods were detained, and five of them are under arrest.
