He added that 1 and 2 may in Odessa arrive additional forces and means which in cooperation with local law enforcement officers will serve on protection of a public order and ensure public safety.
In total, as noted by Bech, will involve 2.4 thousand militiamen.
“Our duty is to ensure peace and human security, to avoid provocations”, – said Bech.
He also stressed that the personnel in the performance of duty should be courteous with citizens and to show restraint when dealing with them.
Today, the briefing took about 700 law enforcement officers, 50 vehicles and 14 police dogs.
