Klimkin commented on the dismissal of the President of the Ambassador in Moldova
KIEV. April 26. UNN. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Moldova Ivan Gnatyshyn at his own request, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, reports UNN with reference to his Facebook page.
The head of the diplomatic agencies said that: “ask Me a lot about the news about the dismissal of Ivan Gnatyshyn from the post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Moldova. It was his decision, taking into account personal circumstances and age. I really respect and appreciate Ivan Nikolaevich and I thank him for the professional work!”.
On 25 April it became known that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko fired Gnatyshina from the post of Ambassador in Chisinau, however the reason was not specified.
As noted by UNN, Klimkin responded to Putin’s decision on simplification of issue of the nationality of the inhabitants of ORDA.
