In addition, decree No. 120/2019 of April 10, temporarily the duties of the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration is entrusted to the first Deputy Sergey Parashchenko.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on 10 April, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision on the resignation of the heads of Kherson and Odessa regional state administrations Andrei Gordeyev and Maxim Stepanov.
Poroshenko by his decree of April 6, Stepanova was removed from the post of Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration and appointed its first Deputy Sergey Parashchenko acting Chairman of regional state administration.
In turn, Stepanov refused to leave the post of Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration, calling illegal the decree Poroshenko about the suspension. In particular, as noted by Stepanov, to dismiss and appoint heads of administrations, the President may solely at the proposal of the Cabinet. While Stepanov confirmed that he was “made an offer” to write the application at own will.
Reference to UNIAN. Stepanov was appointed Chairman of governors in January 2017, he was succeeded by Mikheil Saakashvili. Before that Stepanov was the head of the state enterprise “Printing plant “Ukraine”.
