The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision to dismiss the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

“The resignation of the head of the Kherson oblast: at his own request was supported, and the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration of mister Stepanova, on the proposal of the President – this has also been supported,” he said.
As reported the UNIAN, on April 8, President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree that suspended Stepanova from the post of Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration and the decree after Stepanov is appointed the acting as the Sergei Parasence.
Stepanov refused to leave his post and called the decree of the President about his dismissal illegal, because to fire him, the President may only on the proposal of the Cabinet, and a submission at that time was not.
