In the state of Louisiana recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people

KIEV. March 30. UNN. Louisiana that the US officially recognized the Holodomor in Ukraine 1932-33 genocide of the Ukrainian people and paid tribute to the victims of this tragedy. It is reported by UNN with reference to the microblog of the Embassy of Ukraine in USA in Facebook.

“After more than twenty American States, the Governor of Louisiana John bell Edwards issued a proclamation to the memory of the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine”, – said the diplomatic mission.

We will remind, earlier, on 30 November last year, the U.S. state Rhode island recognized the Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933 a genocide against the Ukrainian people. Prior to this, on November 27, Alabama, in the US, too, recognized the artificial famine in Ukraine in 1932-1933 – genocide.

As reported UNN, the house of representatives of the United States Congress unanimously adopted a resolution in which the Holodomor of 1932-1933 is recognized artificially created and is defined as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
