The organizers of sex work in Kiev and region sent under house arrest
KIEV. March 25. UNN. A group of six people were put under house arrest because of organization on the territory of Kiev and Kiev region illegal sex workers with a daily income of 20 thousand hryvnias. About this UNN reports citing the press service of the regional Prosecutor’s office.
“At the request of the Prosecutor’s office against the suspects by the court elected the measure of restraint in the form of house arrest,” – said the Prosecutor’s office.
It is also stated that for the confiscation of property of criminals in the court directed the petition for seizure of the material values involved: 3 vehicles, funds, Bank accounts, seized Bank cards, mobile phones and other property.
We are talking about 6 people who are suspected of committing a criminal offense under part 2 of article 303 of the criminal code of Ukraine, namely pimping or involvement in prostitution.
Established that the criminal group operated throughout 2018-2019. The participants carried out the recruitment of prostitutes, advertised their services in the future provided the class prostitutes prostitution, exercising constant control over them. Daily income from illegal activities reached about 20 thousand hryvnias.
During a search militiamen found and seized cash in the amount of about 400 thousand hryvnias and documents with draft records of illegal profits.
Last year for pimping was discovered 472 criminal proceedings.
