In the capital of Uzbekistan hosted the opening ceremony of ice Palace “Humo arena”.

The ceremony was attended by politicians and public figures of Uzbekistan, sports stars and show business. The Olympic champion of Turin Tatyana Navka presented his new show “Nutcracker”. In addition, on the main arena hosted a symbolic match with legendary Russian hockey players Alexander Yakushev, Vitaly Prokhorov, Alexei Zhamnov, Pavel Bure and Valeri Kamensky.
The construction of the “Humo Arena” was started in 2017 by the decree of the President of the Republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Its capacity is 12,500 people, making it one of the largest sports facilities in the region.
Previously, Prokhorov has told about plans of creation of the KHL in Uzbekistan.
