The Ukrainian foreign Ministry condemned the visit of the French politicians in Crimea, noting that thus they “showed disrespect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”.

“We regard the actions of those French politicians as a direct connivance of the aggressor in its unacceptable policy of expansionism, intolerance and discrimination, militarization of the Crimea and threaten security in the region of the Black and Azov seas, as well as massive and systematic violations of human rights in the occupied Crimean Peninsula”, — stated in the message Department.
They added that foreigners should “stick to order” the entrance to the Peninsula, and “violators will be prosecuted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine”.
Earlier, the President of the Association “Franco-Russian dialogue” Thierry Mariani said about the “only danger” that exists in the Crimea: “in Summer, heatstroke.” About his trips to the Crimea, Mariani told the TV channel “360”.
On 13 March it became known that the Peninsula with the visit timed to the fifth anniversary of the reunification of the Crimea with Russia, arrived the French delegation.
Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which the majority of residents voted for reunification with Russia.
