“Beirut (Lebanon) became the first middle Eastern city where the international airport began to use the correct name of the capital of Ukraine #KyivNotKiev”, – stated in the message.
In addition, the Ukrainian Embassy in Lebanon released a picture of the airport where you can see the correct name of Kiev.
“At the airport in Beirut, our capital city already served in the correct transliteration – Kyiv”, – said the diplomat.
As reported UNN, earlier Vilnius international airport began to use the spelling of Kyiv and Lviv in accordance with the Ukrainian spelling of Kyiv and Lviv.
