Died Ukrainian diplomat Anton Buteyko / Unionville Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Verkhovna Rada Deputy of II convocation Anton Buteyko died on 72 year of life.

About it on Twitter said the former Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Ogryzko.
“A few hours ago died, Anton Denisovich Buteyko. Bright Person. An outstanding diplomat. Statist. Patriot. There is not enough. It would be a lot, has long lived in a prosperous Ukraine. His diplomatic experience will learn others if you want to go down in the history of their country,” he said.

Buteyko began his diplomatic career in 1974. From 1995 to 1998 he held the post of first Deputy foreign Minister of Ukraine. From 1998 to 1999, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA. With 2000 – the Ambassador at large MFA of Ukraine.
Until September 2003 Buteyko held the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Romania. Resigned in protest against the agreement on the Single economic space with Russia.
