The first bass guitarist of the iconic British rock band Queen, Mike Grose died Wednesday, March 6.
This was announced by the band’s drummer Roger Taylor.
“So sad to hear about my old friend Mike Grose, which I first heard in a band called The Individuals, when we were still in school. It always sounded cool. Rest in peace,” wrote Taylor.

Grose began to play the Queen in 1970.
He stayed there for a few months until the team met the bass guitarist John Deacon, who became the youngest member of the band.
