This was during the briefing said the chief engineer of KP “Management of construction of road facilities” of the city of Kiev Alexander Scolnik.
According to him, work on dismantling the existing crossover will be launched March 17 — the day after the overlap.
“The stages of execution of works provides that the first work is the dismantling of a contact network, dismantling lighting poles, the dismantling of the cornice blocks, dismantling consoles, sidewalks, demolition of asphalt pavement, dismantling of beams themselves superstructures and partial dismantling of foundations,” explained the official.
By the end of 2019 is planned, in particular, to complete work on the construction of a new overpass length 158,17 m, bike lanes (length 741 m), the left – and right turn of congresses, the reconstruction of a pedestrian underpass, landscaping and gardening.
As noted Zdolnik, traffic at this time will be arranged adjacent streets. In particular, the traffic in the street Alexander Dovzhenko — Vadym Hetman will happen in the streets of Anton Tzedeka and Peter Nesterov, out on the Avenue of Victory.
“On the intersection of Peter Nesterov and Victory Avenue will be a temporary traffic light. Further — on Victory Avenue to the intersection with Cannon street — at the intersection also gets a temporary traffic light to allow left turn on a street Gun. Then — on the streets of Gun and Vyborg is provided out on the street Vadym Hetman,” — said Scolnik.
As for traffic in the direction Vadym Hetman — Alexander Dovzhenko, then it will occur on the existing reconstructed exit on Victory Boulevard, with the possibility of intersection of the Avenue and exit to the street, Alexander Dovzhenko, where will also arrange for a temporary traffic light.
In the ways of detour of the organization of unilateral movement of road transport. So, the streets of Anton Tzedeka (up to intersection with Peter Nesterov) and Peter Nesterov will switch to one-way traffic. And Cannon street (to the intersection with the street of Vyborg) and Vyborg also will switch to one-way traffic.
Trolleybus movement on the part of the Sevastopol area on the street Vadym Hetman will be the final stop “Industrial bridge”; from the streets of Helena Teligi street Alexander Dovzhenko — the final stop “Ul. Ivan Gonta”.
Zdolnik added that the reconstruction of the Shulyavska overpass plan to be completed in the current year.
Earlier, the Kyiv city state administration planned that the work on dismantling the basic structures Shulyavska overpass will begin in January 2019.
As previously reported, according to preliminary calculations, the repair of the interchange on the Lot will cost 830 million.
