According to data published by the “observer”, Nikitin had always taken a Pro-Russian position and welcomed the annexation of Crimea. He is a member of the Union of writers of the Republic of Crimea, the laureate of festivals “Pier minstrels”, “Chekhov’s autumn”, “the Crimean adventure 2016”, etc. His son, 34-year-old Sawa, was also born and raised in Yalta, and five years ago, after married, he moved with his family to Moscow.
