The head of the National Assembly of Venezuela Juan Guido, declared himself interim head of state, arrived at the border with Colombian parties before the dispatch of humanitarian aid to the Bolivarian Republic.

According to the TV station, along with Guido to the border arrived the President of Colombia, Ivan Duque.

Earlier it was reported that Guido arrived at Columbia Cucuta. According to him, to get to Colombia he helped the Venezuelan military.

According to the statements of opposition leaders, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Venezuela will begin February 23 and will be implemented in three points: the Colombian Cucuta, the Brazilian state of Roraima and on the island of Curacao.
