The district administrative court of Kharkiv has suspended the decision of local authorities about the increase of fare in public transport. About it reports the edition My Kharkov.

The court sided with the activists of the Kharkiv anti-corruption center.

As a result, pending a final court decision, travel in public transport will cost four hryvnia instead of six, and the fare on the subway will remain five hryvnia.

The decision will enter into force 20 Feb.

In a press-service of the Kharkov city Council reported that there is little comment on the abolition of tariffs not collected. The municipality is waiting for the official document with the decision of the District administrative court.

According to the authorities, to review the decision will take at least two days.
