In Kharkov, held a meeting of the Committee on science and education. People’s Deputy of Ukraine Alexander Granovsky reported that the meeting discussed amendments to the law On education and other issues. The MPs also visited Kharkiv “Yasli-sad” and the center for inclusive education.

He noted that the meeting was held through the efforts and under the leadership of MP Alexander Spivakovsky, and also with the active participation of Taras Cremina, Oleksiy Skrypnyk, Ivan Kirilenko. “Not so long ago I promised the teaching staff of Kharkov to make maximum efforts and, ultimately, to hold a meeting of the Committee on science and education it is here, in Kharkiv. My role and function is limited solely to aid in the process. I am convinced that everyone needs to do their work: the intellectual elite of the country on specialized topics should talk to the relevant experts, that is, in other words, the Committee members – experts in the field of science and education,” said Granovsky.

The Committee considered several important issues for the education sector. They made decisions on amendments to the law “On higher education” in part of the system of management of higher education institutions; to address the Committee on social policy of the early establishment of the national electronic information resource employment; to appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers and to recommend that in the short term to do everything possible to approve and appropriate the appointment of Chairman and Deputy of the Agency for quality assurance in higher education.

After the meeting, the deputies called for utilities “the nursery” No. 108, Kharkov inclusive resource centre. “The guests were pleasantly surprised by the level of staff training and technical equipment. Sure, unfortunately, not all establishments of this type in the country look exactly, so that the city can be proud of” – says the MP.

Also Alexander Granovsky announced the meeting in Kharkiv of one of the Committee in the near future. The key objective of such events, according to the Deputy, “answer more and more questions as Kharkov citizens and inhabitants of other cities”.
