The lawsuit against Russia and Putin in the case of MH17 serves nearly 300 relatives of the victims
KIEV. 1 Feb. UNN. The number who joined the claim against Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the crash of flight MH17 has increased to 291. In an interview with Ekho Moskvy said lawyer Jerry Skinner, reports UNN.
“We started with a small number of citizens of Malaysia and Australia, with whom I established contact. Now we were joined by a large number of relatives of the victims, and our claim was the largest. Together with relatives we have in the lawsuit now 291 people,” – said the lawyer.
We will remind, the plane the Boeing-777 Malaysian airlines carrying out flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down by anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk” on the Russian hybrid aggression in Eastern Ukraine on 17 July 2014. In December, information appeared about the fact that the Netherlands is considering the possibility to initiate proceedings against Russia in international court after the Kremlin refused to recognize its responsibility for shooting down a civilian airliner flight MH17 in the Donbas in 2014, killing 298 individuals, many of whom were citizens of the Netherlands.
As reported UNN, representatives of Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Ukraine signed an intergovernmental Memorandum on financing the prosecution of the perpetrators of the catastrophe “Boeing” flight MH17.
