The theft of the painting Arkhip Kuindzhi “AI-Petri. Crimea” from the Tretyakov gallery in Moscow took place right in front of visitors and with the connivance of the guards.

Usually this landscape is preserved in the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. In Moscow, he was brought to the exhibition.
Later at Moscow kidnapper Crimean landscape Arkhip Kuindzhi was detained. The suspect told police where he hid the painting and found it intact. The attacker 31 years, he was previously detained for drug possession, was under house arrest.
