In the communication Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Odessa region said, the protesters, dissatisfied with the cruel, in their opinion, treatment of animals, blocked the entrance to the circus.

According to head of the regional Central Directorate of national police Ruslan Forostyak, the picketers began to physically block the building of the circus, not flowing into citizens who bought tickets for the circus.
“Among the spectators were women with children,” said Forostyak.
He explained that the organizer of the rally, the police “invited with the aim to warn and to explain possible legal consequences”, but this led to the fact that some of the activists rushed to his rescue.
“All three of them taken to the police station where their identity is established and the corresponding protocols on administrative offences”, – said Forostyak, adding that later the conflict almost escalated into the assault on the police station, where he had been activists.
