The day of the funeral of the assassinated mayor of Pavel Adamovich will do a day of national mourning, said the President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

According to Duda, the attack armed with a knife men with the mayor happened on the day of the great charity event, which brought together on that day thousands of poles.
“It’s a blow to our community, the community of all people who want to do good”, – stressed the head of the country.
He also asked to respect and remember Adamovich as a great man, a great politician and citizen of Gdansk.

The Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki in his Twitter called the murder of the mayor of the “greater evil.”
“The murder of the mayor of Pavel Adamovich for all of us was a huge tragedy. This is a great evil which causes damnation, great sadness and regret. Sincere condolences to his family. The world of his soul.”
We will remind, the mayor of the Polish city of Gdansk was attacked with a knife during a charity concert. Witnesses of the incident were hundreds of spectators, as the attack came straight on stage.
The police immediately caught 27-year-old attacker, who was previously tried and did it out of revenge.
