KIEV. January 12. UNN. The Kiev district court of Odessa has extended the measure of restraint in form of detention for a suspect in the attempted murder of the Odessa activist Vitaly Ustimenko. This was reported to UNN in the press service of the court.

“On 11 January, the Kyiv district court of Odessa has reviewed the petition for prolongation of term of detention in respect of two suspected of attempt at murder of the Odessa activist Vitaly Ustimenko. Having considered the request of law enforcement, the investigating judge granted it. Thus, suspects will be detained without the ability to Deposit another 60 days,” – said in court.

According to investigators, said in court June 5 at the Fontanskaya Doroga street two suspects and unidentified consequence the person has committed an attack on a public figure. The men struck the victim several blows sharp objects. The activist was still alive.
