Volyn “thief in law” caught on extortion of 40 thousand dollars

KIEV. March 14. UNN. In Volhynia detained “thief in law” and his accomplices, who demanded from the citizen of 40 thousand dollars. About it UNNreported in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office in Volyn region.

Law enforcement officers yesterday, March 13, during the extortion of the citizens of Volyn 40 thousand US dollars arrested 9 times before convicted of theft, unlawful use of a weapon and violent crime 53-year-old citizen and his two accomplices.

The criminals headed by criminal authority, which were already in the field of law enforcement, knocked out of men “duty”.

Data on extortion, coupled with violence (a criminal offence under part 3 of article 189 of the Criminal code of Ukraine) entered in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations.

Continue Prime investigative actions, after which they will decide to declare the detainee about suspicion and the election of a preventive measure.
