63% of French people have a negative attitude to Russia – poll
Uncategorized May 19, 2017To Russia’s negative attitude 63% of French and 73% hold a negative opinion about the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. This is evidenced by the results of the survey Odoxa, held on 10-11 may 2017.
Negative attitude to Russia by 76% of those who support the President of Emmanuel Macron , and the party Forward the Republic!, and left, as well as 57% of the traditional right. At the same time, 65% of supporters of the National front sympathetic to Russia.
The organizers of the survey say that the negative opinion about Russia much affected the bad attitude to the head of the country, and in particular, to Putin, which was expressed by 73% of French. Negative opinions about the head of the aggressor state hold 86% of supporters of the Pro-presidential party, 84% left and 64% of the traditional right. Among the supporters of the National front, 53% are sympathetic to Putin.
In addition, 71% of respondents believe that Putin is playing a negative role on the world stage, 53% believe that he tried to influence the presidential elections in France.
To the question of what policy should undertake new President Makron against Russia, 61% of respondents noted that the need to negotiate with her, 29% – that it is necessary to consider Russia as an ally or partner, 9% – as an enemy to be fought.
