2018 world Cup: Ukraine lost to Croatia with the score 0:1

In the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA world Cup football match Croatia-Ukraine, held in Zagreb, won by the Croatian team with score 1:0.

In the starting lineup the Ukrainian team went Bohdan Butko, Nicholas Matvienko, alekandr Kucher, Ivan Ordets, Taras Stepanenko, Viktor Kovalenko, Ruslan rotan, Yevhen Konoplyanka, Andriy Yarmolenko and Artem Kravets. At the gate of Andrei Pyatov.

First the only goal of the Croats scored on 38 minute of the match.

In the Ukraine national team made two substitutions in the second half. Seleznyov replaced Kravets, and rotan – sydorchuk.

At the end of normal time the referee compensated for 4 minutes.

In the qualifying group rivals Ukraine, except Croatia, are also Turkey, Iceland, Finland and Kosovo. Before the match, Croatia, with ten points was ranked first, Ukraine scored eight point and was in second place.

According to the results of the match Ukraine remains in second place, however it might be overtaken by Iceland, in case of victory in the match with Kosovo and Turkey, winning in his field in the match with the Finns.

Before the match, Ukrainian fans in Zagreb performed the song “Warriors of light”.
