World attractions highlighted in green for St. Patrick’s Day

KIEV. March 18. UNN. Landmarks around the world were lit green colors on the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day, the patron Saint of Ireland, reports UNN with reference to the Euronews.

Among the quadrupeds of the places that was highlighted was the Great wall of China, Colosseum in Rome, the London eye, Niagara falls and the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.

In all countries where celebrate St. Patrick’s day, people dressed in green, drinking beer and staged parades. Large colorful and musical event took place in new York. In the US, this holiday has gained popularity due to the large Irish Diaspora.

Traditional parades, festivals and dances Kaylee has occurred in Ireland. More than 600 thousand people gathered to admire a traditional costume course in Dublin.
