In the draft Federal budget of the United States to 2019 provides for the granting Ukraine $200 million for strengthening security and defense.

According to the officially released document of the Embassy of Ukraine in USA in facebook, these funds will be used for the granting Ukraine military equipment and supplies, other equipment and military services, logistics support, intelligence support.

Compared to the budget request for this year the proposed amount is increased by $50 million.

In the draft budget for 2019 Ukraine included in a small number of countries that will receive assistance is also safe and the program of the Department of State, “International military financing” (Foreign Military Financing, FMF).

Further, the budget request needs to go through the study and discussion in the us Congress where it is subject to change and additions (the experience of previous years indicates the possibility of Congress increasing the relevant appropriations).

However, the final amount of aid Ukraine will be known after the completion of the entire process of the document, which is now in its initial stages.
