Security service, listening to the requests of media representatives lifted the ban on entry to Ukraine to two Spanish journalists, previously expelled on charges of proliferation of fakes on the actions of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass. About this Facebook said the speaker of the SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya.

“By listening to numerous appeals of representatives of journalistic shop, we opened the entry to Ukraine Spanish journalists Pampliega Antonio and Manuel ángel Sastre,” she said.

At the same time Gitlyanskaya said that while there are legitimate grounds of threats to national security, the SBU will continue to take “such restrictive measures, including against journalists.”

“You have to understand that against Ukraine is the fourth year there is an information war, it involved huge financial and human resources. It is easy to predict that the anti-Ukrainian campaign of Russia in the future will become more and more aggressive and we will react accordingly”, – said the speaker of the Service.

While Gitlyanskaya said that the SBU establishes with media experts “dialogue to solve outstanding issues relating to the media”.

According to the speaker, the intelligence agencies, working in the interests of the Kremlin propaganda journalists, against which the SBU is investigating, “already knew that, shouting about the alleged harassment, it is possible to enlist public support.” “Unfortunately, their perfect demagoguery sometimes works”, – concluded Gitlyanskaya.

In August 2017 the Spanish media reportedthat the journalists Antonio Pampliega and Manuel ángel Sastre, who wrote about the war in the Donbass, immediately upon arrival in Ukraine was expelled from the country with prohibition of entry by 2020. Reporters blamed the proliferation of fakes on the actions of the ATO forces.
