The white house continued freezing of sanctions against Iran

KIEV. January 13. UNN. The United States took the decision to extend the freeze of the sanctions imposed on Iran through the implementation of a nuclear program for another 120 days. It is reported by UNN with reference to the statement published on the White house website.

This means that the U.S. does not come from international agreements concluded in 2015 with Iran five countries with UNSC veto power, and Germany.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald trump said that Tehran does not comply with the General comprehensive plan of action (AGREEMENT) to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue. He called the nuclear deal with Iran “one of the worst and most unilateral transactions made ever the United States.” Every 120 days, the trump shall confirm compliance with the terms of the Tehran AGREEMENT. He had previously refused to do so, but on 12 January still signed the document, stating, as reported by AFP, making it the last time.

Meanwhile, the EU has repeatedly supported the agreement on Iran’s nuclear program and urged US not to withdraw from the contract with Tehran. In particular, 11 Jan Germany, France and Britain urged the United States to abandon nuclear agreement with Iran, despite the controversial policies pursued by the government in Tehran.

“We urge the United States to promote the Treaty and lived on and was just filled with new life,” said the foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel after a crisis meeting of representatives of the three European countries with the foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif. EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini said that an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program “makes the world a safer place”.

As reported UNN, the House of representatives plans to consider a bill to impose sanctions against Iranian officials who “were involved in the crackdown” in the Islamic Republic.
