James Mattis “has nothing to say”

Pentagon chief James Mattis said that he has no evidence that as a result of air strikes of the US in Syria killed a Russian mercenary.

At the same time, he acknowledged that he had seen information about it in the media, Radio Liberty reports.

“Now in the press there are reports. I have no reports that several Russian, not soldiers of the Russian Federation, but Russian contract, was among the victims. I can’t tell you anything. We have not received such data in the Central command or the Pentagon,” said Mattis.
