The Ivan Honchar Museum has estimated the losses from flooding in 40 million UAH

As a result of breakthrough heating hot water flooded the premises of the Ivan Honchar Museum, at an estimated loss of 40 million UAH. This is stated in the message on the page Museum in Facebook.

It is noted that the exhibits were evacuated and saved, but half a year the permanent exhibition is closed for visitors.

“Permanent exhibition halls completely destroyed with boiling water and steam… For full recovery of activity of a Museum should be about 40 million UAH. In the near future will be peer-reviewed,” – said in the message.

Intact remained the only exhibition hall in the upper floor – and it will be scheduled the next scheduled event.

The accident occurred today as a result of the breakthrough of urban heating in the Pechersk district.
