Spain on penalties to beat England in the final of the Junior European Championship

The Spanish national team became the winner of the European championship for players under the age of 17 years.

In the final, the Spaniards were beaten on penalties England equalized in the sixth added to the main time.

Note that a penalty shootout was held in a new format: after breaking penalties first team second takes two shots in a row, and then double-punches the first team.

Spain became the winner of this tournament in a record-breaking third time. Earlier team of this country won the Euro in 2007 and 2008.
