Saakashvili has filed a lawsuit in court for deportation to Poland

The leader of the party movement novih forces Mikheil Saakashvili has filed a lawsuit in the District administrative court of Kiev with the requirement to recognize the illegal expulsion of his in Poland. About it reports a press-service OASC.

Defendants in the lawsuit of opposition provided by the State migration service, administration of state border service and the Ministry of internal Affairs.

“The plaintiff asked the court to recognize the illegal actions of the relevant structures of GMR, HCC and the Ministry of interior, dated 12 February 2018 to implement the decision on the return of Saakashvili to the country of previous residence,” the statement reads.

The politician also asked the court to oblige the Federal migration service to revoke the decision to expel him.

12 February 2018, the former head of the Odessa regional state administration and the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, was detained in one of the restaurants of Kiev, and then promptly deported him to Poland, where he also took on readmission (wife of Saakashvili – a citizen of one of EU countries).
