Occupiers in Simferopol for two months arrested six of the Crimean people

The so-called Kyiv district court of Simferopol on 12 October was elected a measure of restraint to detained October 11, 2017 six inhabitants of Bakhchisarai in the form of detention for a period of two months. About it reports Crimean human rights group in Facebook.

As a human rights activist said the lawyer Cemil Temishev, “the court” has not satisfied the petition of protection for detainees to elect a milder measure of restraint in the form of house arrest.

“According to one of the Crimeans, who was present at the hearings, detainees from 11:00 until the start of the meetings kept in the car in handcuffs and with bags on their heads, they were not allowed to speak, not allowed to go to the toilet”, – stated in the message.

Lawyer Eden Semelai added that the defence will appeal against the court decision.

October 11, 2017 at the city of Yalta on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea began regular searches in the homes of the Crimean Tatars. The result was detained six of the Crimeans: the Server Zakiryaev, Seyran Saliev, Marlen Asanov Timur Ibrahimov, Mehmet Belyalov and Ernest Ametov.
