The national Bank of Ukraine is going to open an online store selling coins.

This was stated by Director of information technologies Department of the NBU Vladimir nagornyuk, according to the Ministry of Finance.

The national Bank has launched a mobile application “Coins of Ukraine”, which is already available for free download for smartphones running on iOS and Android.

“The new application will provide the user with access to the complete Handbook of coins of Ukraine, issued by the Central Bank. In addition, it allows you to quickly track the balances of coins on the website online ordering the National Bank in terms of regions,” — said nagornyuk.

A mobile application that features a search engine the name of the coin, its series and metal, allows you to view technical information and picture, description of each coin and the like.

In addition, it always reflects complete and current data: immediately after the release, the coin is automatically displayed in the app, so there’s no need to update the version.

We will remind, the NBU wants to refuse coins of 1,2,5 and 25 cents.
