On the British Isle of Guernsey died Latvian Mikus Alps, which helped the Ukrainian army. This was reported on page 8-th separate battalion of the Ukrainian volunteer army in Facebook. The military was called Alps “friend of Mick”.

“Mick Alps was a volunteer in the battalion over the past two years. Tortured, killed, tied and burned in the car that Mick was carrying military battalion”, — stated in the message.

Friends last saw Alpsa 8 Jan. He said he goes for, and disappeared. After some time in the island’s police received a signal that in a deserted area burning car. When patrol arrived and firefighters, the car had already burned. Inside were found human remains. The police assumes that they belong to Mikus Alps, but not yet the examination results, it is considered missing.

Each Alpca volunteer Oleg Nazarenko told to Focus on why he helped Ukraine and what he did lately.

— We met last year in the spring. I someone wrote about Mick that we need to help, and he phoned. He’s been in Ukraine and before we met, but fought or not — I don’t know.

Mick decided to come to us, because they do not believe what you see on TV. Every European country is Russian television, and Britain is no exception. As Mick Latvian, though, and lived on the island of Guernsey, he knows Russian and watched TV. Decided to come and see how things really are, is it true that we are here devouring babies, and walk the streets wild terrorists with shotguns. Mick found out through a friend that his countrymen are engaged in volunteer activities and decided to join.

When Mike first moved back from Ukraine, he told friends about what you saw here. Among them are former military and race car drivers. Together they organized assistance to Ukraine. Send us jeeps, thermal imagers, vehicle parts, body armor. All that is needed.

The media are trying to present the incident as gang violence, but residents write that they have no such things, they have no murders

Mick was quite a large business associated with used cars. He sent spare parts to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus and Russia. However, some time ago sold the business. I tried to persuade him not to, but he started having some depression and apathy. Said had enough and wants to start a new life. As I understand it, he wanted in Ukraine. I threw him a “World inside out” (Ukrainian TV show about travelling. — Focus) and tried to persuade her to go to see the world, relax. I told him, “Buddy, then come to me I will drink brandy and smoke a pipe, and you can tell that he saw in the world.” He then laughed and said I’d think about it. And then announced that he has sold the business, left only 10% for retirement.

After selling the business Mick volunteering. I was worried as he hadn’t squandered all this money. He was eager to help, and I said: “Calm down, there’s helpers”.

In the summer Mick first said that he was threatened. Quietly, laughing, said: “can you Imagine me phoning and writing since she learned that I collect aid for Ukraine.” I asked: “What help?” he said, “No call, say: “I will Kill you*er”. I then started to worry, but he said that Guernsey is a quiet island, there are no murders, and it’s just write some assholes, and he is not afraid of them. He who wrote and phoned, Mick didn’t know.

During a recent call from Mika was already extinct voice, and the guys at the front also said that he is going through. We waited in the Ukraine the other day. He called, said he prepared the car and cargo, optics for snipers.

I really hope that the car burned not Mick. He is a smart man and could not go where it is unclear with whom is unclear. I don’t believe. I called the guys from the island, his friends, sent letters to the residents of Guernsey. The media are trying to present the incident as gang violence, but residents write that they have no such things, they have no murders. On the island began to panic.

I hate to read when you write about Mick that he is an alcoholic and drug addict, all in the thieves ‘ tattoos. He did not drink alcohol, and tattoos his art. He made them after breaking up with a girl and I wanted to numb the pain.

If suddenly the car was still Nick, it certainly wasn’t a showdown. I will not argue that he was killed by the Russians (this was stated in the message of the 8th battalion. — Focus). There is enough of his “wool” that could do it. The more friends Mick told me that the place where they found his car, you know only local.
