Moldova called on Russia to withdraw its troops from Transnistria

Moldova called on Russia to withdraw its troops from Transnistria, in accordance with international obligations. The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs and European integration of Moldova Andrey Galbur said the 24-th meeting of OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, reports European truth.

“The Republic of Moldova remains deeply concerned about the prolonged illegal military presence on our territory. And we strongly reiterate our call to completely withdraw Russian troops from Moldova’s territory, according to the international obligations and the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova”, – said the Galbur.

21 July 2017, the Moldovan Parliament adopted a Declaration demanding that the aggressor state Russia withdraw its troops from Transnistria, controlled by Russian separatists.
