The curriculum for older pupils in secondary schools has undergone changes.

In programs that are approved by the order of MES, introduced modern themes, the description of which is included in program and published on the website of the Ministry of education of Ukraine.

So, in the updated program literature can be found works of the Crimean Tatar writer Tair Khalilov, Nobel prize winner Svetlana Aleksievich, Yuri Andrukhovych, Vasyl Shklyar and Oksana Zabuzhko, known for the bestseller “Field studies of Ukrainian sex”.

At the same time, from a mandatory list of books removed a film by Alexander Dovzhenko “Ukraine in the fire”.

Changes were made and the program of discipline “Ukraine and the world”. So, the students are encouraged to explore the Association agreement of Ukraine with the EU and the agreement on visa-free regime with the EU.

Also expanded the list of modules in physical education – students can choose Rugby, korfball (sport game, similar to netball and basketball, the most common in the Netherlands and Belgium), step-aerobics and cheerleading (a sport combining elements of the show and spectator sports), dancing, gymnastics, acrobatics.


Recall that 6 Ukrainian universities entered the TOP 1000 universities in the world.
