In the world of 65.6 million internally displaced people – UN

As at the end of 2016 the world has to 65.6 million internally displaced people. About this informed the Office of the UN high Commissioner for refugees.

According to the report, one person gets forcibly displaced every three seconds and average every 113th person in the world moved to USA. Last year we became refugees on 300 thousand more than in 2015.

The number of displaced persons exceeds the number of people in the UK. Of these, 22.5 million are refugees, 40.3 million internally displaced in their country and another 2.8 million are seeking asylum.

30 may 2017 the Ministry of social policy reportedthat the number of internally displaced persons in Ukraine is 1 million 584 thousand people.
