In Chile, vandals damaged three churches on the eve of Pope’s visit

In the Chilean capital Santiago, three of the Catholic Church was attacked by vandals on the eve of the visit of Pope Francis. It is reported by The Santiago Times.

About three churches set off the explosives. Damaged doors and facades. Police prevented a fourth attack and defused the bomb.

The identity of the vandals is not yet established. They left notes with threats to the Pontiff: “Pope Francis, the next bomb will be in your robe.”

Interior Minister of Chile stated that everyone has the right to protest but resorting to violence is another matter.

The visit of Pope Francis scheduled for 15-18 January.
