“Cut off from the world”: the OSCE about the lack of mobile communication in ORDA

Residents of temporarily occupied settlement Talove, which is located 39 kilometers from Lugansk, complained to the OSCE observers for the lack of mobile communication. This was announced today LIGA.net in a press-service of the mission.

“The CMM team noted that uncontrolled government areas were terminated, some services of mobile communication. In the village of Talove the owner of the shop observers expressed concern that such termination of service provision, stating that the residents need to call a taxi or an ambulance for transportation of patients in medical institutions”, – noted in press service.

According to the OSCE, a woman living in government-controlled areas, observers expressed concern about his grandmother, who lives in the temporarily occupied Donbas, and the family lost contact due to the termination of services.

Sources in Lugansk announced today LIGA.netthat “no mobile connection” not for the fourth day. “Cut off from the world now saves the Internet and Skype,” said local resident Sergei, whose name is changed for security purposes.

According to him, it is not known when may receive mobile communications in the city. A similar situation is observed in Donetsk.

On 11 January it was reportedthat in the occupied Donbas lost contact Vodafone.

The DNI and LC – terrorist organizations seized with the support of the Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine. Both organizations created, funded and maintained by Russia, where, among other things, the terrorists are getting fighters, trainers, and heavy equipment, weapons, ammunition, and fuel.
