At auction in the USA sold the cigar Churchill

Half-smoked cigar, Prime Minister Winston Churchill has sold at auction for $12.2 thousand About it it is reported on the website of the auction house RR Auction.

The starting price for the lot was $1000.

Churchill smoked this cigar may 11, 1947 in Le Bourget airport in Paris, and repaid it when they came on Board.

From a cigar left a stub length of 10 cm, on which the inscription “La Corona / Winston Churchill”. The butt kept the crew member William Alan Turner.

Along with the butt sold a photograph of the British Prime Minister with the same cigar in hand. The photo has an autograph from Churchill.
